Here is a cute card I just finished. I used some shimmering paper from Prima.
One thing I learned was to use a dye based ink because pigment just won't dry. My heat gun even couldn't get it.
The card is all white. I surprised myself with the bow. I wish I had made it longer but I was just fine with it because I was not going to re-do it. The stamp is from hero arts and the butterfly is from a Martha Stewart punch. I made the antenna out of 24 gage wire I got in the jewelry section at Michael's. I used the Swiss dots embossing folder. The inside is blank. No machine was used for this card. Hope you like it.

Love Bug - Card

Just finished this cute love bug card. I used a set of fiskars stamps and enlarged them to suit my needs. Colored them with copics. The bug is matted on white, red, and black. The ribbon is from Michael's and so is the pattern paper. I doodled with a white gel pen. I think it turned out cute. I like all the colors. It's almost 70's ish. I'll post a pic of the inside as well. It says "Caught the Love Bug" I added a light pink background. Not sure if you can tell in the pic.

Bundle Up - Card

I made this card early this morning. I used a fiskars stamp set. I scanned it in and added a shadow layer. I first dry embossed the background paper with the snow flakes. The paper is whitewash coridnations paper so once embossed I sanded it a little so the core would show through. I then added some ink and covered it in clear embossing powder. Once heated it gave it a very cool wet look. The twine I found at walmart for $1 and the metal snowflake is a big brad. I used a clear star pen to make the scarf sparkle a little.

Beary Warm Wishes - Card

I can't really take much credit for this card.
I saw this stamp set and card here: http://iheart2stamp.com/page/3/
I stamped the image and then scanned it so that I could resize it as needed. I also used a different font in MTC called "Don" I get all of my fonts free from the fontpacks yahoo group and it can be found here: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/fontpacks/
My card is a bit different than the one on the site.
I used the threading water punch twice and the ribbon is from Michaels, I used liquid pearls but I'm not excited over the effect. I think I still need to learn those. :-)
The paper card base is Recollections Cardstock and the pattern paper is from the DCWV "Old World Stack". The Snowflakes are from Michael's.
