Love You

This card might get remade. I really like it but, I've seen other embossing and it's much smoother than mine. I wanted that look, I'm just learning this stamping hobby and I think if I try again I can make it better.
The background is just a Love You stamp with some copper embossing powder.
The heart is a metal piece I found from Making Memories. I got it from Michael's. The paper at the bottom was cut from a sheet from Garden Party.
I'm part of a great Facebook page. Scrapbooking, Stamps, and Crafts RAK
It can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/361947063817188/
On this group we host lots of RAK and discuss our hobby. I was interested in trying out this Baker's Twine before I made another investment and I was gifted some in every color. Soon I will post a RAK so that I can pay the generosity forward. It's worth checking out if you have things you just want to part with that others would love to try.

Just Because

I love to hate this card. It was a huge pain. Only because I had picked out this little bird and flourish to go on it. They were both glittered and I hate it. I also struggled to get the stamp the way I wanted it to look. I stamped it over and over again. Ahhh!!! We've all had those days right. Those are the ones where you can either just enjoy touching ALL of your stuff and scrapping things that don't workout. Finally, I can say I am pleased with it the way it is. The flower is a chip board piece that came in a pack I got for .97 cents from Walmart. The ribbon is from Michael's. The patterned paper across the bottom is a stack from Me & My Big Ideas.
Thank you for looking!

This card was made because a friend of mine had just bought the Martha Stewart punch around the page. We wanted to see how it would look. It was very pretty and I didn't want to just throw it away. I used some clip art on the butterfly and used my Zing! to cut it out. I used hotfix rhinestones on the butterfly as well. I stamped the red heart and the True Love from a stamp set I found at Walmart for $.20!!! Yes twenty cents! The white and red card stock is textured with lines. I really love this card. It would make a great valentines card. :-)
This card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest. It just had lots of layers and was blue and brown. I love that color combination. I stamped the butterfly from a stamp set I had found on clearance and the "Be Yourself" is from a Tim Holtz stamp I also found on clearance. I think I get lots of stuff on sale like that. I used large white eyelets and some blue ribbon. I really like this one. The butterfly and words are both on dimensionals.
